About CRM BN.
CRM BN is run by me, Ryan Wong, in Brunei. I help small businesses in Brunei and East Malaysia get a working mobile-friendly website without the agency overhead.
I'm not a design studio. I'm not a marketing agency. I run a small operation that does one thing well: one-page mobile websites for businesses that need customers to find them on Google.
The short version
I've been building websites professionally for over a decade, mostly for larger companies and government projects. I started CRM BN after watching friends and family try to get their small businesses online and getting quoted BND 1,500-5,000 for what is essentially a one-page template.
The work itself is not hard. The pricing reflects an industry that hasn't been challenged. CRM BN is the challenge.
What I actually do
For each customer, I:
- Build a one-page mobile-first site within a day of the request
- Use a small set of tested templates — no "design exploration" billing, no design theater
- Host it on infrastructure I maintain
- Handle small updates monthly as part of the subscription
- Keep the model small so the price can be small
That's it. No dashboards. No upsells. No "premium themes."
What I don't do
- E-commerce stores with inventory systems
- Booking platforms with calendar integration
- Member portals with login and access control
- Custom integrations with existing POS or ERP systems
- Multi-language sites beyond English and Bahasa Melayu
For those, I'll tell you honestly that you need a custom build, and I can recommend someone.
Why this model works
Most web agencies price per-project because each project is a heavy lift. They have designers, project managers, hosting infrastructure, support staff. The cost is real.
But the marginal cost of one more simple site, on infrastructure I already run, using a template I already have, is tiny. So the price can be tiny too.
USD 9.99/month or USD 79/year is not a loss-leader. It's the actual economic cost plus a fair margin. The math works because the model is small.
What I won't compromise on
Two things: honesty and irreversibility.
If your business isn't a fit for a one-page site, I'll say so. If a custom quote is lower than mine, I'll point you there. If you ask for something I can't do, I'll tell you upfront instead of taking your money.
And the work is genuinely yours. No "platform lock-in", no "we own the design", no "if you cancel you lose your page." If you stop subscribing, I give you the static HTML and the assets. You can host them anywhere.
